Ms. Newell is a bilingual in English and Spanish, and completed her Bachelors’ of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology at Hofstra University in 2016. She received her Masters’ of Science degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Simmons College in 2019. She has 10 years of experience working with children and young adults with all types of developmental disabilities, ranging from 2 years to 21 years. Ms. Newell has experience providing ABA services in both the public and private school system as well as in home and residential settings.
Her primary focus of interests in the field are in verbal behavior, behavior management and parent training. Ms. Newell takes pride in conducting therapy that is individualized to each child and their family, recognizing the need for flexibility in service. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, practicing yoga, spending time with her friends and family and exploring the world.
